A Great Stay Near Bakery Hill
I chose the Mercure for my visit to Bakery Hill, driven by my interest in its historical significance and vibrant atmosphere. The hotel's location was perfect for my explorations, and I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the staff, who ensured all my needs were promptly met. I particularly enjoyed the delicious meals at the bistro, where the menu offered a satisfying variety, complemented by their excellent wine selection. The outdoor swimming pool was also a lovely touch for relaxation after a day of activities.
Minor updates needed in the bathroom.

We recently stayed at the Mercure for a one-night stopover on our way to Melbourne. The spacious courtyard room was a highlight, allowing us to park right beside it. We appreciated the clean and comfortable accommodations, along with the peaceful ambiance, which provided a nice retreat after a long drive. The babbling brook and beautiful gardens offered a lovely atmosphere for a stroll. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
I couldn't recommend more this hotel.

I have visited this room twice—once for an exam and again for a seminar—and each time I found it to be very clean and comfortable. The bed was particularly good, though I felt it could benefit from additional bench space and more seating options.
One minor drawback was the lack of a proper table and chairs, as I had to manage with only one chair. This made it challenging for me to work comfortably on my tasks.
